The veteran booster, which first flew on May 30, 2020, has a storied history, including launching the Demo-2 astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). The B1058 lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, at 12:33 a.m. EST, carrying 23 Starlink satellites into orbit. This launch adds to SpaceX’s impressive 2023 accomplishments, which include a record-breaking number of launches and the successful test flights of the Starship/Super Heavy stack. With 89 Falcon 9 launches, four Falcon Heavy missions, and multiple achievements, SpaceX has surpassed its previous records and continues to push the boundaries of space exploration.
